Governor's State Performance
Beginning with Fiscal Year 2006/07, agencies, boards and commissions under the Governor's jurisdiction created the first-ever Governor’s Report on State Performance. The report was prepared to:
- Offer the citizens of Pennsylvania a better understanding of the major services that were provided to the public by the commonwealth in a given fiscal year
- Increase state government’s accountability to those who live and work in Pennsylvania
- Highlight major achievements and new initiatives
Information is provided on each agency whose major programs and services are concentrated in each subject area, including major achievements during the highlighted fiscal year and budget highlights and key performance measures from over a three year period.
The Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole (Board) appears within the public safety section of the entire performance report. Excerpts of the Board’s section from the entire report are below.
